P’s in a Pod

Our girl goats

are the P’s in a Pod. Each of their names begin with the letter P. They have a cozy shelter and a big pen with a separate gated section for when goats need alone time.

Priscilla

is 5 years old and is a LaMancha/Nigerian cross. Who came with Penny, journeying the vast expanse between Custer, MI and Hart, to live with us. She is the frazzled mother to our first goat baby born on farm in April 3, 2025. Priscilla loves animal cookies and fresh leaves from the nearby trees.

Penny

is THAT b. She is the 5 year old Nigerian Dwarf queen of the herd. She may be crossed with a beach ball or maybe she ate one. Penny has a majestic pair of horns that she uses to bully and protect our herd. If you’re a predator, Penny will mess you up. If you bring snacks she loves you.

Pippi

is a 2 year old Nigerian Dwarf goat. She was a goat yoga baby before she came to live with us when she was ready to leave her momma. She has lovely blue eyes. Pippi still has those yoga moves, if you bend over she will stand on your back. She loves to chase and jump with her new friend Persephone.

Persephone

or Poppy for short is our first goat baby born on the farm. Her momma is Priscilla and her father is our regal Alpine goat Rowan. Poppy was born April 3, 2025. She has her dad’s long legs and Yoda ears. She is a precious angel always ready to jump and play.
